Welcome to Weekend Reading
Thank goodness it’s the weekend. It’s been the hectic week I expected and it looks like it’ll be much the same for the next few weeks, but there’s still stuff to do so my plan for this weekend is; clearing the clutter. The weather should be mild and dry, so I’ll tackle some of the outdoor areas that need a serious dose of de-cluttering. There’s a mountain of scrap timber left over from a demolition job (too embarrassed to say how long ago) that needs to be dealt with. That means a bit of a fire in the backyard. Unfortunately, none of this timber is suitable to bring inside for use in the open fire – it’s either painted or mostly rotten. It’s just a pity I wont have time for roasting marshmallows.
Meanwhile, here are a few of the articles I read (and watched) during the week that resonated with me. I hope you enjoy them, too.
Something for those who need a bit of ‘get out of debt‘ inspiration.
Something for those who are looking for more ways to save money, even when you don’t have a lot to begin with.
Something for those interested in either starting a side business or a full-time business. You’re bound to pick up some great pointers.
Something for the insomniacs (like me).
And finally, something for those who don’t mind having their view of the world shaken, just a little bit.
This is the full length version of the documentary, Four Horsemen. Awesome. Scary. And, oddly inspiring.
